The lovely terrace was great for parking my fancy car, and the towels in the apartment were so luxurious, I felt like I was wrapped in a cloud. Hiking? Please, I prefer to be pampered.
Oh, how I missed the thrill of paying for parking and bringing my own towels. Truly a disappointment.

What a wonderful experience! The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We were delighted to find fresh bread and homemade jams waiting for us, along with a lovely selection of books and maps about the area. The view of the countryside was absolutely glorious, and the on-site parking was convenient. The location was perfect for exploring nearby Kirkwall and Stromness. We had a truly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it to others!
There was honestly nothing to dislike about our stay. The only minor issue we encountered was initially figuring out how to use the electric heater, but once we got the hang of it, the room was cozy and warm.
